Welcome Students!

                  For those of you that are just joining my class and are new to Family and Consumer Sciences I’d like to give you some information regarding what you’ll be learning this semester. For those of you returning to my classes, I am so glad you chose to continue your FCS education and I look forward to teaching you again.

                  Family and Consumer Sciences has different subject or “content” areas. The different content areas are Culinary, Education, Food Science & Nutrition, Health Management, Housing & Interior Design, Human/Child Development, Personal & Family Finance, and Textiles & Apparel. There are a lot of different paths you can take if you take FCS classes. Feel free to ask me any questions that you have regarding FCS and I will do my best to answer them. I appreciate your interest in FCS classes, get ready for a fun semester!
